Core Performance Test Methods for Refractory Materials

Refractory materials are widely used in metallurgy, building materials, chemical and other high temperature industries, directly affecting kiln operation stability and service life. All products are tested strictly complying with national and industrial standards.

 

1. Cold Physical Properties Test

Test bulk density, apparent porosity and cold compressive strength by GB/T 2997 and GB/T 5072, to guarantee structural stability during transport, installation and ambient use.

2. High-temperature Mechanical Properties Test

3. Thermal Shock Resistance Test

Follow GB/T 30873 to simulate kiln temperature fluctuation. Adopt water quenching test for cracking and spalling resistance; use customized methods for silica and alkaline water-sensitive refractories.

 

4. Refractoriness & Thermal Conductivity Test

Test refractoriness per GB/T 2993 and thermal conductivity per YB/T 4130, providing basis for kiln energy-saving design and insulation selection.

 

5. Chemical Erosion Resistance Test

Simulate actual working conditions to test slag and acid-base corrosion resistance, ensuring long-term durability of refractories.
