Project Overview：
Huaxiang Refractories has established in-depth cooperation with Hebei Zongheng Group Fengnan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., undertaking its 240-ton ladle masonry project and providing one-stop services including customized refractory supply, professional on-site masonry and full-process technical guidance. As a core transfer equipment in the steelmaking process, the 240-ton ladle needs to withstand long-term erosion by high-temperature molten steel, frequent thermal shocks and mechanical scouring, which places strict requirements on the performance of refractory materials and masonry precision.
Solution：
Combined with the working condition characteristics of this project and the production needs of Fengnan Iron and Steel, Huaxiang Refractories optimized the overall service plan, scientifically configured suitable high-performance refractory materials such as magnesia-carbon bricks, aluminum-magnesia-carbon bricks and high-alumina castables, standardized the masonry process, arranged a professional technical team to be stationed on site for full-process control, strictly controlled the quality of each construction link, avoided common hidden dangers during construction and use, and ensured the full exertion of refractory performance to meet the production and operation needs.
Project Achievements：
The project was completed on schedule, with regular ladle masonry and up-to-standard compactness, and no leakage, peeling or other problems during operation. The service life of refractory materials has been significantly improved, which effectively increases the ladle turnover efficiency, reduces the frequency of shutdown maintenance, ensures the continuous and safe operation of the customer's steelmaking production, and has won high recognition from the customer.
